Founder, owner & manager Arnold Weisz
I founded the media company Water Ventures in 1997. From the very beginning when I wrote features about scuba diving (this is how the name Water Ventures came in mind) via newspapers, we have now developed and moved into the international digital media world.

Before I started working in the media I enjoyed 8 years in the restaurant business, as I am a trained chef-de-cuisine. Today I combine my culinary skills with the art of writing and photography in features about the wonderful world of food together with photographer Stein Johnsen. These features have appeared in several regular food-coloumns in magazines and websites in Norway Stein has become our "house photographer" as we have worked together on many projects around the world, both over- and under water. |

I have been diving since 1988 and have enjoyed numerous of our planets fantastic divesites. I have been a diving instructor since 1998. As an instructor I have tought others to dive in Costa Rica, Spain, Greece, Sweden and Norway. Just teaching wasn't enough. I wanted to spread the word about diving other ways too, so I picked up writing. This lead to three years as the assistant editor and several years as a freelance reporter at the Norwegian sportsdiver magazine Dykking. After gaining valueable experience here I choose to become involved in an international publication. Since 2006 I am an associate editor at the international diving magazine X-Ray Mag. X-Ray is a groundbreaking digital magazine with a world wide distribution.
